Trouble falling asleep?

Eat for the health of it.

You are not alone if you have trouble sleeping. Or do you fall asleep and later wake up and can't go back to sleep? That is annoying too. I have done both and it is annoying and then you drag your body around all the next day.

First of all, you want to stay away from drinks with caffeine in it. Don't exercise too late. Exercise at least 5 hours before hitting the sack. Take a hot shower or a warm bath a couple of hours before going to bed. Make some lavender sachets and put them around the room. Lavender is calming. Try warming a little organic sesame oil and rub it on your feet and temples and behind your ears.

I seldom have trouble sleeping but I think most people at some time do have a restless night and it seems no matter what you do you can't fall asleep. If you think about what you had for supper or dinner, which ever you call it, I lived in the country, on a farm all my life and we usually called the evening meal, (Supper).
If you eat something that will give you energy like, sugar, coffee or tea with caffein in them, sweet desserts and even alcohol. Alcohol can make you sleep but after a few hours it can wake you up too. It affects everyone differently.

Try natural foods and drinks that agree with you most, but stay away from drinks and foods that have caffeine in them. And eat early enough so your stomach isn't full when you go to bed.

If you are looking for a gift for a wedding shower or other special day, try my all natural cookbook: GRANDMA'S BACK TO BASICS ALL NATURAL MORE THAN JUST A COOKBOOK by Teresa Thompson, ISBN# 0-8059-6286-7, is available at www.dorrancepublishing.com, or phone at: 1-800-788-7654, or at: Amazonbooks.com

I would like to recommend a very good novel by Trishianna Rose Roberts ISBN# 1-58736-601-0, available at:www.wheatmark.com, or at: Amazonbooks.com, or at: Abebooks.com

Laughter is healthy:

Little Suzie came home from school and told her mother that the boys keep bugging her to do cart wheels durring recess, because she is so good at it.

Her mother told her, "Suzie, they just want you to do that so they can see your underpants."

Suzie said, "No they don't, because I took them off and put them in my book bag."
