The auditor, twice burned already but thinking to himself, there is no way this old guy can do that trick. He once again agrees.
Gramps unzips his pants, stands by the desk and strains as much as he could but the stream did not make the basket on the other side, he pretty much urinates all over the desk.
The auditor leaps with joy, realizing he had just turned his major loss into a huge win.
Gramps attorney moans and puts his head in his hands.
The auditor asks,"Are you okay,sir?"
"Not really, says the attorney. "This morning he bet me $25,000 that he would come in here and pee all over your desk and you would be happy about it."

The moral of this story: Don't mess with old people.

Smelly foods

Eat for the health of it.

After eating some great foods that were seasoned with onions, garlic or other seasonings and you remember you had to go away and you would be close to people and talking with them and you wish you hadn't eaten those particular foods. Hopefully you have some fennel tea to drink or some parsley tea or ask for a branch of parsley at the restaurant after you eat and chew that up good and that is a good breath freshener. Baking soda can help, I always keep a box in the refrigerator to keep the odor down in there. Try sage tea.

If you have smelly feet, soak them in a pan of warm water and with a cup of apple cider vinegar added to it. This can be equal amounts if necessary. Soak at least three times a week.

cornsilk tea

Hey, this may sound kinda corny but if you have swollen ankles from too much salt, try some cornsilk tea. Simply save the cornsilk next time you have fresh sweetcorn on the cob, dry it and make a cup of tea by taking a tablespoon of the dry silk and steep it in a cup of water for 5 minutes and drink it.

Asparagus juice is also a good diuretic. And drinking plenty of fresh water.

You can buy chewing gum from the health food store that contains pine bark extract. Chewing it after meals for a half hour will help. You also can take a cotton swab and dip it into the gel substance from an aloe vera plant leaf that has been cut in two.

Other things to try are, black tea, wintergreen oil on a cotton wad, and tea tree oil mixed with a little water and a cotton wad. If none of these work, see your dentist.

Backache

Who hasn't had a backache? If you haven't you are really lucky. There are a lot of different things you can do for it but whatever works for you is what you want to do.

I broke my back in an auto accident 25 years ago and I also ruptured four disks in my neck and a disk in my low back. Now I have been doing all kinds of things to keep it from hurting. I have an inversion table that I use and a Back to Life machine that I use. I should say I had been using until I fell in my barn and messed up my neck and had to have surgery to repair three disks that were pressing on the spinal chord and now I have trouble walking and my hands sting like they were in a nest of bees. I hope to be better in a few months.

If you have back problems, the best thing to do is try to strengthen it by swimming and other exercises but don't just lay around and make it weak. You may have to rest it for awhile but get in the water as soon as you can even if you just walk around for awhile then gradually add more exercises. I had my neck surgery three weeks ago and I am going to go in the water tomorrow for awhile just to walk and hopfully I'll be able to swim soon. Even if you can't swim, use a floatation belt and swim fins. I cut the ends off my swim fins for less resistence. And then if you want more resistence then have two pair.

Alternating ice and heat also helps. Try lying on the floor and stretch. Try some willow bark tea (a natural form of aspirin). If you can get someone to massage your back or have your doctor recommend a place to get accupunture. You just keep trying until you find what works the best.

children and dieting

I read in the paper where Michelle Obama is going to do something about the obesity in children. I think that is something does really need some attention and I give her two thumbs up. I hope she realizes that the reason these children are getting so fat as well as adults is the increased injestion of processed foods and also the use of chemicals in so much of our food supply. I have been complaing for years about those horrible chemicals in our foods because I am allergic to them and they make me sick. Even though other people do not get sick eating these chemicals does not mean that it is not hurting them in some way, like causing obesity and cancer.

This old couple was eating at McDonalds. They had purchased a meal; a sandwich, a drink and an order of french fries. They cut the sandwich in half and each took a half, then they divided the french fries equally and they shared the drink. The manager noticed what was going on and approached the couple and offered them another meal so they could both have a sandwich. The couple thanked the manager and explained that they shared everything and they were fine. The manager watched as the man ate his food and his wife watched as he ate. This bothered him and he again approached them and offered to buy them a meal and they refused and again said we share everything. The manager then asked the woman, "Why aren't you eating?" She answered, "Well, I am waiting for the teeth."

About athlete's foot

Athlete's foot, known as Tinea pedis, an ithchy inflamed fungus affecting the feet, can be brought on by wearing your favorite boots or shoes. When your feet sweat and become inflamed and itchy, you need to let them dry out. Overnight airing won't do it, you need to soak them in a solution of half apple cider vinegar and warm water and soak your feet for at least ten minutes and dry.

Another soak is a basin of warm water with three teaspoons of tea tree oil and soak your feet twice a day for fifteen minutes. (If your feet have broken skin this solution may cause some burning).

You can try 6 teaspoons of powdered licorice to a cup of boiling water and simmer for 20 minutes. Strain out any residue, let the tea cool and take a cotton wad or a small cloth and pat on the toes three times a day.

Another one you may want to try before giving up and going to the doctor is: The garlic solution: Peel only the outer dead skin off the garlic being careful not to break the smooth skin exposing the juice from the clove of garlic. Place a garlic section between the toes and cover your foot with a sock and in the AM you wash and dry your feet. You may have to do this for a week and if these all fail I suggest you see a doctor.

I have had good luck with the vinegar and the tea tree oil but I use it as soon as I have any cracking. So the sooner you get at it the better off you will be.

Using a tea made of a teaspoon of grated ginger and a cup of boiling water; let steep for 10 minutes and sip it. Ginger tea provides many anti-fungal compunds.

Always dry your feet before putting your socks on. To make sure they are dry, use a hair dryer.

Remember the natural way is the best way. Use a foot spray that contains calendula and witch hazel, an astringent herb that reduces moisture. Wear cotton socks. Strawberries and blueberries are packed with vitamin C which will help fight the fungus and zinc will help the healing also.

After shopping for an hour and not being able to find her husband, Mable decided she would go to the car where she would find him waiting for her. But, he wasn't there. She went and searched the store again but she still did not find him. Finally she called his cell phone, when he answered, she asked, "Where are you?" He answered, "I am home why is it taking you so long to get a few groceries?"

It seems more people are getting asthma in their adulthood. My husband was diagnosed a few months ago. I guess if we live long enough we will end up with something. My husband uses a small inhaler type thing. I read recently that yoga poses that are helpful. If you care to try this: Lie flat on your back on an exercise mat and tuck your fists under your butt. Lift your chest as high as you can and tilt your head backwards. Breathe deeply and see if you can feel the muscles in your chest opening up.

You also may want to treat your house for dust mites. Eat apples, tomatoes and onions and also try some tumeric and again I will say that omega three fish oilis a good supplement for a lot of things. Naturally if you feel bad you should go to a doctor.

Vision in a downpour

I was glad to get this information. I have been in this situation many times and you don't know what to do.

When driving in a downpour.. even driving at night,keep a pair of sunglasses handy and put them on in the event you run into a heavy downpour rain. Try this and share it with all your friends and family.

Another good bit of information:

A woman was driving in a rain when suddenly her car began to hydroplane and she was actually flying in her car. (Luckily she was uninjured but her car was wrecked). When she explained this to the police officer he told her something that every driver should know. NEVER DRIVE IN THE RAIN OR ON THE ICE WITH YOUR CRUISE CONTROL ON.

I think this is a very important thing to teach all new student drivers.

If you suffer from arthritis, you are not alone. There are several kinds, which affect women, for some reason by the time you reach middle age you are already noticing the tightness in the fingers, neck and hips and knees because the spongy cartilage begins to wear off.
Some of the biggest reasons for arthritis are from knee injuries from playing sports; women who wear high heeled shoes. Maybe if you start using remedies with the first signs of arthritis it may help later on. Glucosamine sulfate, which is a supplement that is produced from shellfish, is good. At the first sign of knee pain, start to take the supplement and also use the magnetic wraps with "unipolar" magnets and place the positive end of the magnet over the sore knee. I used these when I worked on cement flooring all day and I also took the glucosamin with chondroitin. Diet is good too; by eating fish like trout and salmon or take an omega 3 fish oil, essential fatty acid, which is good for swollen stiff joints. Losing weight will also help. Eat fruits, nuts and beans. White willow bark is good also, look for it at your health food store. Another thing that I have been eating is hot peppers. Try sipping ginger tea and also bike riding.

You are not alone if you worry about every little thing but if it damaging your health it's time to get some help. If you get in an accident, that's one thing but to worry yourself sick that you might get in an accident, that is when you should get some help.

It doesn't help to drink a lot of caffeinated drinks because caffeine boosts lactate, which in turn can cause anxiety in people who are. Some sinus, cold and asthma medications can also induce panic attacks.

I take three Omega-3 capsuls a day or you can eat Salmon, tuna or sardines, three of four times a week.

Don't be afraid to talk to your doctor about anxiety attacks, he can help you, either through medication or professional help and don't forget that prayer does help.

magic with magnets

Just a real short one tonight, I want to get back on here. If you are having problems with stiffness in the joints and muscles, try using some "Unipolar" magnets. Wrap the possitive end of the magnet directly over the knee or other, that hurts and you should get relief within a half hour. Hey it's worth trying. I have used the magnets and have had good luck with them.

I a still around but not much in the mood to keep up with the blogs everyday.
I just want you to know I am okay. They operated on my neck and I am still wearing a brace. Three of my discs were pressing on my spinal cord and I could barely walk when I went into the hospital. Hopefully I can get back on here a little more regular.
