Holiday hazards

Eat for the health of it.

I just happened to stop by the advertisement table today and I picked up a few advertisements and I thought this would be worth passing on:

If you have overnight guests and will be having small children in you home, please be sure to put up all of your medications.

If you do not know it; Holly berries and leaves are poisoness if swallowed.

Mistle toe berries are poisoness. The YEW evergreen holiday tree is toxic.

Batteries, if swallowed can cause blockage or if they leak, the acid burns and can be very serious. And keep children away from things they can choke on like:hotdogs, grapes, nuts, hard candy, marshmallows, popcorn, chewing gum, balloons, coins, marbles, small balls, toys with small parts and button batteries.

Remember that older decorations may contain lead.

Poinsettias are very toxic.

Angel hair is made from very fine spun glass. Avoid contact with the eyes and throat. Wear gloves when handling.

Snow globes can be filled with toxic liquid.

Icicles or tinsel can cause airway or intestinal blockage.

Bubble lights contain a poisoness liquid.

Alcohol: Ethenol found in liquor, perfume, mouthwash, or hand sanitizers can be poisoness to children.

Please watch small children and pets for any of these warnings.
