The mystery of overeating

Eat for the health of it.

Do you ever eat a lot of food at a wedding or party, or just a get together with friends? Then you promise yourself that you are not going to do that again, but you do. A lot of us can answer yes to that. They always have the good, sugary and fatty foods at parties. They know by past experience that the richer the food the more you will eat. The party giver wants you to eat and enjoy what they fix so naturally they make rich pastries and fatty foods. You're brain just tells you that you want that food and away you go. Rich fatty and sugary foods are brain teasers and you just do what your brain tells you to do. Go for it. That can help us figure out why we get fat. It's not easy to diet without some regulating and will power. Try placing a smaller amount of food on your plate so each thing you take doesn't touch the other; eat it and don't go back for seconds. The most satisfying foods will be the all natural foods, so you will want to choose a piece of lean meat, a whole grain bread or roll, non starchy vegetables, and fruit. Hopefully the fruit will be a raw unsweetened type, like mellons. Make up your mind ahead of time that you do not need or want that dessert. Learn to deal with stress and other emotional behavior, so you do not use this as a crutch to eat more than you need.
