How about those hemorrhoids?

Eat for the health of it.

No, no one wants to talk about them but it's amazing how many people cannot help but have them on thier mind, especially when you are sitting on them. In countries where they do not eat refined cereals etc. they seldom have a problem with hemorrhoids. Wouldn't that be nice. We just eat too many processed foods. But we got 'em, now what to do with them. They can be prevented. I wish I knew how, way back when. Hemrrhoids are a type of vericose veins. Your hemrrhoid vein surrounding the rectum and anas, developes a weakened and enlarged area. You can have external or internal hemrrhoids. The outer will be painful at times.

You can treat your hemrrhoids in different ways; like if you are overweight, you should try to lose weight and this will help relieve preasure and constipation, the major causes of hemrrhoids. Eat high-fiber foods and drink plenty of water or other liquids. Fruits like Bluberries, Blackberries and Cherries help to strengthen the veins. Eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, garlic, ginger, cayenne, and onions. There are new products on the market but I would go to a health food store or an herbalist and ask them to recommend something.

I have a fissure as well as hemrrhoids and I do try to drink plenty of coffee, tea juices, besides water and when mine flare up (especially that little fissure) I use a drop of olive oil and a few drops of iodine. I try to keep it in a small amount so that when I take the cotton wad to soak the mixture, it's just enough, otherwise you will have it all over the place. I place the cotton wad, with the mixture, right on the area and then I take another cotton wad to cover it.

A little suggestion: the drop of olive, will only be about the size of a small raisin and the drops of iodine will be about the same, so you have an idea how much to use. I take the cotton wad and I pull on it so it is about 2 inches long, then I soak the mixture up into the cotton wad and place it where you need it and take the second cotton wad and pull it to about 2 inches and place it over the other, already in place so it will help catch any spillage. This has worked really well for me.

Laughter is healthy: Squirrels

Five churches in this small town were being invaded with squirrels. Presbyterian, Baptist, Methodist, Catholic and Jewish.

The Presbyterian called a meeting to decide on the fate of these little pests. After praying and reconsideration, they decided that it was God's will and the cute little things could stay.

The Baptist found the squirrels had taken up habitation in the baptistery. The Deacons had a meeting and decided to cover the Baptistery and drown the little devils. They escaped and moved out but returned in a couple of weeks-two fold.

The Methodists humanely trapped them and turned them loose in a park outside of town.

The Catholics figured the best way to handle them would be to Baptise them, make them members so now they only show up on Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday and Easter.

The Jewish Synogogue, circumsized the squirrels, had a church serice with them and haven't seen them since.
