Suggestions on what food to eat

Eat for the health of it.

If you eat the wrong foods they can leave you still craving more, that's why it makes a difference if you eat highly processed foods, like cereal, or instant oatmeal, especially the sweetened kind, that is all processed and you don't have to chew it so your teeth do not get strengthened and it's all digested for you so your digestive system doesn't get a workout either. Your teeth and gums need to chew to keep them healthy. Your digestive system needs to process the foods and that helps to keep the digestive system healthy and in good condition. If everything is processed then it goes straight through so you will still feel hungry, therefore you keep eating and the unprocessed foods leave a trail of mush to be absorbed by the digestive system that causes you to gain weight, and your body turns to mush, like the junk food you feed it. You need fiber, like old fashioned oatmeal. Your body has to work to digest it, so you are feeling full and building muscle tone, because your system had to work to digest it.

I really like the low carb diet the best because you can eat a lot of food and you feel full after you eat and it takes time to digest it and you lose weight on it. It's a little difficult when you first start it because you have to train yourself that you can only eat the low carb foods. It is best if you buy a low carb diet book like doctor Adkins and make a list of the foods that contain the least amount of carbs and carry it with you for awhile until you get used to it.

Keep in mind that flour and sugar are the biggest no-no's. Lucky for you they do have Stevia which is a safe all natural sweetener. I have used it for years with no side effects. Also a very new one (Excella) which I have used a little and so far I have not had a reaction from it. It's supposed to be all natural and it really looks and tastes like real sugar and you can use it for baking. I have only used it a few times so if anyone out there has any knowledge of it please let me know. I have not seen it in the stores but I have on line. EXCELLA

You can buy a lot of all natural products like peanut butter and if you want it more moist, use olive oil and if you want it sweetened use the Stevia or the Excella. You can put the peanut butter on celery or mix it with cream cheese and use it as a veggie or fruit dip. I know you have to watch it because there are a lot of foods out there that say they are all natural but they contain MSG and other chemicals, so do read the labels. They should not allow an all natural add on things that are not.

One thing that is important on the low carb diet is to take fish oil. You can always ask if a certain fish oil has an after taste and always take it just before you eat so you will have a less chance of the after taste.

It will take a couple of weeks to get used to this diet but when the pounds start to fall off it will give you an incentive to keep it up. I highly recommend it. Just remember the good carbs are the fruits and vegetables but the fruits are really limited to one or two a day. Veggies are more lenient, they don't have the sugar that fruit has. Bad Carbs are all processed foods, white flour and white sugar which pretty well cuts out all breads, cereals and pasta. If you order a hamburger, just throw away the bun, as simple as that.

I highly recommend this diet; it's healthy, it's all natural foods and once you get used to it, it's easy. I don't recommend a low fat diet because it more than likely will allow a lot of foods that are not natural and they may be processed.

Laughter is healthy:A man feared his wife was going deaf and may need a hearing aid so he calls the doctor to find out what to do, the doctor gave him some simple tests to find out. "Stay about 40 feet away from your wife, ask her a question in a normal tone of voice and listen to see if she answers, if no answer, close in 10 feet at a time, asking the same question, if she does not answer at approxamately 10 feet away, then you know she will need a hearing aid."
That night he tried at 40 feet and nothing, he tried at 30 feet and nothing. When he got 20 and 10 and still nothing he got right behind her and asked for the fifth time. "Marge, what are we having for supper?" Marge answers, "Ralph for the fifth time we are having chicken for supper, and I think you need a hearring aid."
