Eat for the health of it.

i wonder why they are always trying to get you to take drugs to get your cholesterol down below 200 but the truth is, you should really try to keep it just above 200. Keeping your cholesterol below 200 can give you more of a risk of having a stroke. I try to keep mine right around the 200 mark and to help keep it there I drink a special health drink, using a 64 ounce bottle of all natural white grape juice and a 64 ounce bottle of all natural apple juice and to that add a 1/2 cup of 'mother vinegar' or apple cider vinegar. Drink a small glass before meals or after meals, it has kept my cholesterol down.

I like the low carb diet because you can eat a lot of food and it isn't processed plus you feel full, it is all natural and healthy for you. You should eat three meals a day and remember that there is no diet that does not have restrictions.

Obesity is one of the biggest health problems today, even with all of the artificial, no cal sweeteners that is supposed to help us lose weight but instead it just makes us crave more sweets. Some day I am hoping that they will realize that these artificial (chemical) sweeteners are not doing what they promise, and because they are processed with chemicals, they are not safe and should be taken off the market. They have an all natural, safe, non chemical sweetener, Stevia, and you can buy it in the liquid form, dry packets and bulk, at the health food store. I have used it for years without a problem. Honey is another all natural sweetener and is very good for you. It is not calorie free, you just have to control how much you use, that is the only way to lose weight and you will be eating healthy.
