Another bad consumer product

Eat for the health of it.

You have probably heard about (BPA) bisphenol A, It's an ingredient in making plastic containers like water bottles, baby bottles and pacifiers, plastic knives, forks and spoons, plastic bowls etc. In animal studies, it shows that BPA is unhealthy, prompting reproductive and hormone-related problems. And that was in using mice. But further studies have shown that high urinary BPA concentrations may be linked to heart disease, type 2 diabetes and abnormal amounts of liver enzymes and more than 90% of Americans have detected levels of BPA in their urine.

It is said that the FDA does not want to do anything about BPA because there is too much money involved. How do they put a price tag on our health? I guess it's all up to us, just spread the word that BPA is really bad for you. Stay clear of BPA by avoiding any liquids or foods that are stored in these type plastic bottles and containers. And the processed foods that are stored in these containers may even be worse than the BPA itself.

Just a health tip:

When grilling, marinate the meat to be grilled for 1 hour before grilling.

It is recommended for older adults to take a class in Tai Chi. It is an ancient Chinese martial art that uses a series of poses, gentle stretching, flowing motions to achieve balance.

If you want to get your Omega 3 by eating fish you will be better off eating farmed trout, farmed Atlantic salmon, and Coho. The fish with the least amount of Omega-3 is: Tuna, red snapper and corvina.

Laughter is Healthy: A lawyer boarded a plane in Anchorage Alaska with several pounds of frozen crab, he sees a blonde stewardess and cautions her to be sure she puts the crab in the freezer so they wouldn't thaw out. She assured him that she would do that. He again asked her if she put the crab in the freezer. Annoyed with him she assured him again that his crabs were safe. Just before landing in Toledo, Ohio the stewardess announced over the PA sytem, "Would the man that gave me the crabs, please raise your hand. Noone raised their hand and noone picked up the crab either.
