Have you ever sprained an ankle or stubbed your toe or even you hands and fingers?

Eat for the health of it.

I read about this in some old Indian remedies, but I have been doing this for years. If you sprain your ankle or stub your toe or maybe strain your hands or fingers, just get some good hot water and add a cup or so of salt. Some people use Epsom salt but you may not always have that on hand.Soak for a half hour.

These good old fashioned remedies are really worth trying, sometimes I think maybe we run to the doctors too quickly. Don't get me wrong, I am not against going to the doctor but when it comes to little injuries that can be (at least tried) to fix at home.

We didn't run to the doctor when we were kids unless we broke something or blood was gushing. I think we ate healthier and we were healthier. Now the kids eat so much junk food that their bodies can't fight back naturally, so they need an antibiotic.

Try to encourage your children to eat good healthy foods; things that are all natural so they stay healthy. Laughter is healthy:

Two policemen knock at this guys door.
He answers,"Yes?"
"Mr. Smith,we have bad news and good news."
"What's the bad news?"
"Scuba divers found your wife's body in the bottom of the bay."
"That's terrible. What could be good news after that?"
"Well," answers the officer,"when they pulled her up there was a huge lobster and a dozen blue crabs still hanging on her body."
"You people are sick, where is the body? I still need to identify it."
"I'm afraid you can't see the body yet, they won't be bringing her up again until later this afternoon."
