Eat for the health of it.
I have found another ear cleaner. I have tried several on my own and I have been to two different doctors and they have cleaned my ear out and I still cannot get all the wax out. Now I want to try this and see what happens. You can buy Lobelia tincture or fluid extract(nonalcoholic) from the health food store. Heat a small amount in a spoon, over a flame. When warm put it in the ear and let it in there for a half hour. I see where my first problem is, is that I don't leave the stuff in my ear long enough. I'll have to try it again and keep it in there for a half an hour, then rinse it out with warm water.
Try to keep with the all natural stuff, I still swear by it.Eat all natural as much as you can to maintain your health. A man and his wife were grocery shopping and the husband picks up a case of beer and puts it in the shopping cart. The wife immediately questions him, "What are you doing?"
I am buying this case of beer."
"We cannot afford the case of beer."
"But it is only $10 for 24 cans."
"We don't need it."
He puts it back and a few minutes later the wife picks up a jar of face cream. The husband asks, "What are you doing?"
She answers, "This is my face cream."
He answers, "That is $20."
She answers,"But this makes me look beautiful."
He answers,"So does 24 cans of beer and it's half the price."
Over the PA system comes this voice,"Clean up on isle 25, we have a husband down."

Henoch-Schonlein Purpura
Eat for the health of it.
HSP- I never heard of it before either. All I remember is that there were little tiny blisters like on my ankles and they kept breaking and joining one another until they formed a very large red raised area and then others formed around my ankle. Then I had it on both ankles. They really looked more like a purplish black scab. I was hospitalized for four days, I had about every test they could give me. I was released and then I got these humongust hives that were redish in color and they were all over me. My eyes and lips were swollen. I had a few small ones on my chin, they were all over my torso and legs.Drove me absolutely nuts with itching until a friend of mine recommended that I take a Benadryl. I was ready for taking anything at all.
I have difficulty using generic drugs. (I should say the filler in generic drugs, because the drug inside is really the same but they use different fillers). And you may never know what they put in there.
Other than the doctor telling me that I may have gotten this from taking the generic drug, that made me itch, I really do not know what caused it. I just hope I never get it again. Although my sores are shrinking, they will be on me for awhile and I am sure I will have some scars from them. What I have read on this too is that I had this bacterial infection after my neck surgery in January and this could have been brewing in there since then.
I think it has helped that I do eat all natural or it could have been much worse then that was. I didn't have a lot of the side effects that I could have had with it so I think it does help to eat all natural to build up your immune system.

Gall stones
Eat for the health of it.
I had my gall bladder out years ago because it was constantly bothering me. Now that they have done studies they show that if a person that has gall stones can actually get rid of them by eating parsnips, parsley, peas, turnips, and scallions raw and cooked. I guess if you eat enough of those vegetables it will cause you to pass the stones. I would probably have tried it had I heard about this because the xrays did not show that I had any large stones. And after it was removed they found only gravel. I guess I never missed it but just the thought of going through a surgery that wasn't really necessary or could have been eliminated. I do realize that time is always the issue. They didn't do all the testing they do now. Just something to think about if you are troubled with your gall bladder.
I guess this is part of the reason I am always pushing all natural foods, because whether you or anyone else feels the way I do about all natural foods, our bodies were made to digest all natural foods not all of these chemicals they are adding to our food supply.Naturally our innerds are going to try to repel these poisons, and when they can't then we get all kinds of retaliation in there, causing hives, cancer, gall stones, appendicitis, ulcers, blood dissorders, clogged arteries, allergies, etc.
My all natural cookbook is the only way I can help anyone that needs this kind of help. I know I am not the only person that has problems with the additives to our food supply. drugs and food that don't go well together?
Eat for the health of it.
I have just read an article on food and drugs that don't mix. I really never thought that food would not mix well with drugs. If you think about it I guess mabe you wouldn't want to mix some drugs with orange juice or grapefruits and I have heard about that, I guess because of the acid.
You shouldn't drink alcohol and medications unless you have asked if they will mix.
If you are unsure what to do, just take your medication on an empty stomach and wait for 4 hours before eating. You should be safe with a neutral or bland foods such as, applesauce, pears, bananas mangos, baked squash, pumpkin, potatoes (without the skin). The best thing to do is talk to your doctor or pharmacist for any interactions between food and drugs. Also try www.pharminfo.com.
I hate taking medications because there are so many possibilities of interactions. I have trouble just trying to find a drug I can take that agrees with my system.
I try to stay as all natural as I can and it is hard for me when I do have a problem, I have to watch so I don't have an allergic reaction. I mostly have trouble with generic drugs.

A wealthy lawyer had a summer cottage in the woods and spent much of his free time up there and often took friends up there to keep him company. On one occasion he had asked his Czeckoslovakian friend of many years to go with him and he took him into the edge of the woods to pick some berries, as they were filling the bucket with the berries he noticed two huge bears- a male and a female. The lawyer ran out of the woods but his Czechoslovakian friend was not so lucky, the bear had reached him and swallowed him. The lawyer drove into town to get the sheriff, he quickly tells him what had happened and the sheriff grabs his gun and they drive back to the scene. The bears are still there and the lawyer says, "He's in that one!" pointing to the male, while visions of lawsuits are dancing in his head.
The sheriff looks at the bears and aims his gun at the female and shoots her dead.
"What'd you do that for?" exclaimed the lawyer, "I said he was in the male one!"
"Exactly," replies the sheriff, "but would you believe a lawyer that said that the Czech was in the male?" I know that was a real groaner.

Aching feet?
Eat for the health of it.
I have had some problems with my feet and some pain in them, I soak them in warm water with a small handfull of epsom salt. Dry them and roll up the towel and put the towel under the arch and rub it back and forth or you can take a small pop bottle and roll it under your foot.

One day, a teacher, a garbage collector, and a lawyer are in an accident and they all parish. They go to the pearly gate and St. Peter is having a bad day, there are just too many people trying to get in, so he tells them they have to pass the test to get into heaven. He asks the teacher, "What was the name of the ship that crashed into the iceberg and sank with all those passengers?"
The teacher says, "That was the Titanic."
Saint Peter lets him in. He turns to the garbage collector and asks," How many people were on board?"
The garbage man answers, "1228."
Saint Peter lets him in.
He turns to the lawyer and says,"Name them."

Onion can be a fighter
Eat for the health of it.
I may have told this before but one thing my mother used for colds was an onion. She would cut the onion (chopped fine) into a glass then add some sugar, then she would place a small plate over the glass and flip it over so the juice would run out onto the plate, and then she would take a spoon and get some of this juice and we would all have to take it so we were cured or safe if we didn't have a cold.
Also by placing a cut onion, if someone has the flu in the house, the bacteria germs will go to the cut onion and I am sure years ago when most of your medicine came from knowledge that you learned as a child. We didn't run to the doctor for every little sniffle or sneezes.(When you are finished with the onion you have to throw it away, do not eat it, remember it has just collected all those germs.) It can make you sick. Another remedy is shredding an onion and placing it in a stainless steel or glass cooking pot and add three cups of goats milk to the pot. Simmer on low for 20 minutes uncovered. Set aside to cool. Strain, then drink or sip 1 cup of this onion, milk mixture. Drink another cup every 3 to 4 hours. Once you get used to it you will be able to chew the onions and swallow it. I can try anything if it will keep me from catching a cold.
Always seems like the simpler life- not going to the doctor for every little thing.

A young blonde sat next to a lawyer on a long plane flight. The lawyer asked if she wanted to play a fun game to pass the time. The blonde answers, "No." She ignores him and tries to sleep. The lawyer doesn't leave her alone and explains, "It's easy and it's fun. All I do is ask you a question and you answer me or if you don't know the answer, you pay me $5, vise-versa"
She again refuses and rolls her head over to the window and tries to sleep.
The lawyer finally says,"Okay, if you don't know the answer you pay me $5, if I don't know the answer then I will pay you $500.
This catches her attention and she agrees to play along with him.
The lawyers first question is, "What's the distance between earth to the moon?"
The blonde reaches into her purse and hands him the $5. Now it's the blondes turn to ask the question. She askes the lawyer, "What goes up the hill with three legs and comes down with four?"
The lawyer looks at her a little puzzled. He gets his computer out and looks it up and finds nothing. He emails his co-workers and after an hour he gives up and hands her the $500. The blonde takes the money and went back to sleep.
A little miffed, the lawyer wakes her again and asks, "What is the answer?"
Without a word the blonde reaches into her purse and hands him $5 and goes back to sleep.

I was on vacation
Eat for the health of it.
Did you miss me? Probably not, but I really did a dumb thing last night I had my blog all done and I hit the wrong button and it was gone and I was too tired to redo the whole thing so I will give it another try tonight and think twice before I hit the key. BOINK!! I am only human.
Had a great family reunion. We had people from all over the place, California, Alaska, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, New York, Pennsylvania. We had a great time.
If you have eye floaters: Close your eyes and rest them for an hour, that usually helps them go away. Other eyestrain, use a cold wet wash cloth on your eyes for awhile and this will help. Just eat healthy, take it easy and rest always helps.

Laughter is healthy:
Little Johnny is bored with the first grade and insists that he be forwardded to the 3rd. grade. His teacher contacts the principle and tells him what Johnny says and the principle sets the boy down and tells him that he will have to take a test and if he passes he will be sent to third grade, and Johnny agrees.
"What is three times three?" asks the principle.
"Nine." replies Johnny.
"What's six times six?"
"Eighty one."
And this goes on with every question the principle asks that he thinks the boy should know for third grade. He tells the teacher that he feels the boy is ready for third grade.
The teacher agrees but has thought about other remarks that the boy has made at sexual remarks and she has a few questions that she would like to ask the boy too.
They agree. The teacher begins by asking,"What do cows have four of that I only have two of?"
Johnny answers,"Legs."
"What is in your pants that you have that I don't have?"
The principle's eyes open wide as Johnny answers,"Pockets."
The principle sighs a relief. He tells the teacher, "That's enough, he can go into fifth grade. I missed the last two questions myself."
